Southern Maryland White Dove Releases

Display the Doves before your ceremony. This is a beautiful way to show the birds as your guests arrive. Displays are set up prior to your guests arriving. For chapel weddings, the display is set up in the entry way. Once the bride has entered, the birds are then placed in a decorated heart shaped basket to await the return of the bride and groom for releasing. If your wedding is an outside wedding, the birds can be placed on display either beside you or at the entry area. Birds are placed in the basket at a prearranged time, or handed to the bride and groom for releasing. There is an additional charge for this service.

Arriving a half hour before the event, our representative will instruct the participants on the proper way to hold and release the birds. We will coordinate with the wedding photographer to ensure that everyone is ready so your important moment is captured on film. The birds can be placed in a small wicker basket if the bride and groom choose to not hold them.

Two individuals, designated by the bride and groom, will be instructed on the release of the ten other birds. Birds will be placed in a wicker basket (five each) and placed strategically. We will coordinate with the wedding photographer to ensure that everyone is ready so your important moment is captured on film. You may have the ten birds released first and follow with the release of the bride and groom or the bride and groom may go first.
